Description

he avasage can be seen at first. In this avasage the original plan is still remaining and can be seen. In front of it is a long verandah, and can be entered through two doors. Next is a large inner court yard. The rooms (kuti) of bhikkhus are around this court yard. The doors of all rooms are faced towards the inner compound and the windows are faced to outward. The rear part has been separated for the refectory(mulutange) and danasalawa. Other components of the vihara are in a higher elevation. Mainly there is a viharage

Things to See

 The front wall of the shrine room has beautified with a makara torana.At the both sides of the door sculptured two lions faced to frontward in standing posture and figures of two guards can be seen. Inside the room, mainly is a sedent image of Buddha
